Damn, do you recall the stereotypical rap music video? Where you have rappers posted in front of their collection of cars, in the hood, with posses of goons and thugs surrounding them, a couple big booty bitches shaking their bon bons, creating a true family affair atmosphere. Do you recall this? Yes? I hope so because if you do, then you will love a weird take on this stereotypical rap music video with the new video for the weirdawesome track from Chief Keef’s Finally Rich, CItgo.
Chief Keef, who is known to feature his entire posse of goons in music videos, does it again, but this time the Keef and goons have been banished to the garage of a house that is never really revealed or to the outside area of the house, riding around four-wheelers or posting up on them. This is seriously like all those times in middle school when your mom let you have a lot of friends spend the night, but said ya’ll could only spend time in the garage because “ya’ll are too loud and will wake up your dad.” Except its a music video shot with an amazing camera, using badass HD camera effects that I am not familiar with and is shot for a rapper who is signed to a major label and makes millions of dollars. Weird right?
The video was released in celebration for Keef’s 18th birthday, which is today, and here at Two Hundred and Ten, we would like to thank the sometimes hardly audible, dread waving, young lad from Chicago for all he has done to bring us joy in the past couple of years. So many hits in such a short amount of time, and with videos like this popping up on the daily, so much incredible joy. Thank you Chief Keef, we salute you and hope that one day your mother allows you back in the house to make more brilliant music!
